The Pakistan
Telecommunication Authority PTA has released its Quality of Service (QoS)
Survey for the second quarter of 2025, assessing the mobile broadband
capabilities of the top cellular mobile operators (CMOs) in the country.
Internet speed testing was performed in 19 cities for both download and upload
speeds using automated and third-party methods.
The Auto
Mode Tests were confined to comparing upload and download processes of 10GB
files performed in 3-minute intervals, while the third-party app tests sought
to capture the real-world user experience.
The
evaluated survey results were compiled and tailored according to the number of
cities where 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th were awarded to a particular
provider.
